Our Genesis
Hence, to everyone reading this, we wish to make a heartfelt request.
If there is one thing that will bring real change around us, it is the belief that each one is responsible for the present environment around us & that each one has the potential to make it better.
Our environment is an interconnected web of life where nature, home, and community work together to make a good life possible. Good life depends on balance and commitment. It means finding balance with our Earth, Air, and Water as well as with our families and our communities at the glocal level. There are few things in life as enriching and satisfying as working with others and for others to make a better future.
Only you can do it. No one can make you start.
You have to decide whether you are willing to contribute to having a more rewarding life around you.
Remember that the beginning is important.
And even more important is the will to persist and persist, even though there would be some issues, problems, and challenges to address as time passes…..but remember every moment evolves you.

Our Journey
Our Birth
This sense of responsibility for the present state of the society, a strong conviction in individual & institutional capabilities & capacities, an urge to do something positive and pro-active and the spirit of service gave birth to a voluntary association called Prithvi Innovations in 2002.
Our Growth:
Over a period of time, with the commitment of the volunteers, the cooperation of our members and the generous support of our Mentors we evolved as a formal, not for profit organization, committed to change and registered under Societies Registration Act 1860. (Registration No. 344).
Besides the local initiatives, we also strived for global partnership. And within a short span of time, our efforts got recognized internationally when on 21st August 2002 we became the first official Organizing Committee of Clean Up the World, Sydney, Australia in Uttar Pradesh.
(Clean Up the World is a non-profit global organization, engaged in various Clean up, Fix up environmental projects & events held in conjunction with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)).
Since then, there has been no looking back….

Enriching Engagement Opportunities as a Volunteer or an Intern
INTRODUCTION
Internships at Prithvi Innovations are full of exciting, enriching, engaging, enabling, empowering, and enjoyable opportunities, like

Individual students ( class 7 onwards), Youth, or Youth groups who wish to engage in exciting and challenging real-life community projects or as part of their academic requirements are welcome to join us as, either a Volunteer or as an Intern respectively.
Young graduates while starting their career or higher education, or as a part of their academic requirement, join us as Volunteers or Interns.
INTERNSHIP DURATION
4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks up to 48 weeks or one year are encouraged.
The period of internship could range from a month to a year or more. There are various kinds of internship options student can opt for
Volunteering /Internship Location:
Preferably Lucknow and areas in UP and Uttaranchal
Stipend:
Generally, all interns have to complete 15 days of volunteering before they can qualify as Interns. After 15 days period, a nominal stipend may be given to them, depending on the project they undertake, their time contribution, and the Project budget.

During internship, youth are involved in particular tasks such as research & documentation work, Social Media Promotions, Design & Development work, or Fieldwork, depending on their interest and capability, related to the on-going project.

Selection Process: Students willing to Volunteer or join as an Intern are requested to
1) fill and submit the given registration form
2) mail duly signed and stamped official request letter for Internship from their College or Institution ( in case it's a part of their academic requirement).
3) and mail their Curriculum Vitae, along with their photo & Aadhar card in jpg format to prithviinovations@gmail.com.
Students would be informed about the selection within a week of sending the above details.
Certification: Project Completion Certificate would be issued on successful completion of the project within the scheduled time and as per the guidelines given. The Interns have to submit a project report to Prithvi’s Panel of Expert on completion of the internship.
