In the face of escalating environmental challenges, individual and collective actions—termed "Kind Green Acts" - serve as powerful catalysts for change. Prithvi Innovations, a non-profit organization based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, exemplifies this ethos through its unwavering commitment to initiate,facilitate & create a Pro Planet cleaner, greener, more compassionate, healthier, happier, toxic free,  inclusive & peaceful global citizens & communities 


The Genesis of Prithvi Innovations

Founded in 2002, Prithvi Innovations emerged from a profound sense of responsibility towards societal and environmental well-being. What began as a voluntary association has evolved into a registered non-profit organization under the Societies Registration Act 1860. Demonstrating a global outlook, Prithvi Innovations became the first official Organizing Committee of "Clean Up the World," Sydney, Australia, in Uttar Pradesh on August 21, 2002.

Pioneering Innovative, Pro- Planet, more fulfilling, Zero-Waste Lifestyle Solutions through its multi- dimensional initiatives rooted on it's 16‘R’s (Respect, Rethink Redecide, React, Revive, Refuse, Repair, Reduce Recover, Repurpose, Reuse, Redesign, Restore, Re-invent Recycle), of insight & transformation. 


Educational Outreach and Community Engagement 

Recognizing the transformative power of education, Prithvi Innovations has reached over 100,000 children, youth, and women through more than 2,500 workshops and training programs. These initiatives focus on environmental awareness, health, and hygiene, aiming to sensitize young minds and empower communities. Their holistic approach ensures that skill development is intertwined with environmental stewardship, fostering a generation of environmentally conscious individuals & communities in line with Mission LiFE & 17 SDGs & Vikshit Bharat & Atma Nirbhar Bharat. 


Sustainable Consumption & Production:

Central to Prithvi Innovations' mission is the promotion of a zero-waste lifestyle. Through innovative workshops, training sessions, and consultancy services, the organization educates communities on sustainable consumption and eco-friendly living. Their "Bhoomija - 360°" Zero Waste Home Store exemplifies this commitment by offering handcrafted, upcycled green gifts and multi-utility items, thereby supporting local artisans and promoting green livelihoods promoting the principles of circular economy. 


Environmental Conservation Efforts

Prithvi Innovations' dedication to environmental conservation is evident in their extensive tree plantation drives, having planted over 70,000 trees to date. Additionally, their commitment to cleanliness has led to the removal of more than 90 tonnes of garbage through more than 238 clean-up initiatives and its Sambhav Program for Sustainable Waste Management.These tangible actions not only enhance local ecosystems but also inspire community members to participate actively in environmental preservation.

Prithvi Innovations has been at the forefront of celebrating Van Mahotsav with a remarkable blend of social media campaigns, eco-contests, online quizzes, aggressive plantation drives, ecosystem restoration initiatives, and meaningful celebrations of Biodiversity Days. Each year, the organization creates a vibrant green wave by engaging thousands of individuals, schools, colleges, and local communities in action projects such as "Save the Frogs," "Save Sparrows," and "Save Owls," aimed at protecting and nurturing native flora and fauna. Through these collective efforts, Prithvi Innovations not only fosters a deeper connection with nature but also strengthens the foundation of environmental stewardship and sustainable living.

Be Food Wise & Leave No Footprints" program, also known as Annapoorna Jagriti Abhiyaan.

A key highlight of Prithvi Innovations' environmental endeavors is the "Be Food Wise & Leave No Footprints" program, also known as Annapoorna Jagriti Abhiyaan. This unique initiative addresses the critical issue of food waste, promoting mindful consumption, food sharing, and responsible waste management. By creating awareness and providing practical solutions, the program helps individuals and institutions reduce their footprints and contribute to a hunger-free and waste-free society.


Green Celebrations

In addition, the organization champions Green Celebrations, transforming traditional festivities into eco-friendly occasions. By advocating for plastic-free, zero-waste, and nature-inclusive practices, Prithvi Innovations ensures that cultural celebrations contribute to the well-being of the planet rather than its degradation.


Green Livelihood Mission

Another significant endeavor is the Green Livelihood Mission, which empowers local artisans, self-help groups, and rural communities through sustainable income-generating activities. By promoting the production and sale of eco-friendly products, the mission supports economic resilience while fostering environmental conservation.


Prithvi’s Jal Yatra Initiative

Water conservation is also a cornerstone of Prithvi Innovations' work, exemplified by the Jal Yatra program. This initiative emphasizes the importance of water wisdom, involving communities in rainwater harvesting, water body rejuvenation, and the protection of aquatic ecosystems. Through awareness campaigns, hands-on workshops, and collaborative water management practices, Jal Yatra inspires collective action towards a water-secure future.



By integrating these dynamic and holistic programs, Prithvi Innovations continues to nurture a culture of environmental consciousness and action, ensuring that each Van Mahotsav becomes a milestone in the journey towards a greener, healthier, and more sustainable world.


International Recognition and Collaborations

The impactful work of Prithvi Innovations has garnered national and international recognition. Founder Ms. Anuradha Gupta received the Grand Prize Award from Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in 2015 for her best idea for social change linked to the brilliant idea of controlling and Reducing Food wastage at all levels. 

Prithvi's strong conviction, innovative eco ideas and consistent efforts have been recognized Internationally, demonstrated by it's association & partnerships with number of International organizations like IPEN ( International Pollutants Elimination Network), Earth Day Network, UNEP, One Planet Network, SAVE THE FROGS!, UNESCO Clubs of India, Clean UP the World, Digital Camp to name a few. 

The organization has also established partnerships with esteemed National & local institutions and Government departments,, including a Memorandum of Understanding with Integral University, Lucknow, besides close working relations with more than 40 schools ,colleges, Universities luke Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti Language University, Lucknow University, Department of Business Management, Amity University, Maharishi University of Information & Technology, IIM Lucknow etc..to further environmental education, conservation to mitigate climate change and create Young dynamic Climate Action Ninjas or Green Champs.
