Mrs.Anuradha Gupta- Founder & General Secretary

Mrs. Anuradha is a pro-active and enterprising person with multiple skills & diverse experience, with an innovative mind and a sensitive & caring heart, strong will-power, perseverance, and never-ending passion, energy, and stamina.

A firm believer of the saying- ‘Practice before you preach’, she decided to evaluate her own lifestyle and the cost of the social and environmental impact of our daily choices, before moving to the development and social sector in 2004. Prior to 2004, she worked in the industrial sector for more than a decade as a Professional Cost Accountant with various companies of repute like Tata motors, Eureka Forbes, APIC (AP industrial Components), Madhu Export and Scooters India.

Presently, she is the Founder cum General Secretary of Prithvi innovations. She is also a prestigious ex-member of Multi-stakeholders Advisory Committee (MAC) of Sustainable Lifestyle Education (SLE) and Partner of Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) program of 10Year Framework Plan, (10YFP), of United Nations Environment Program and a member of the Global Clearing House on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) of 10YFP.

She is a ‘Graduate’ or ALA Alumni of prestigious Atlas Leadership Academy (ALA) of Asia Network, Washington DC. She is ‘TTT’ Trainer for Bosh India’s Pan India CSR initiative, ‘BRIDGE’ (Bosch Response to India’s Development and Growth through Employability Enhancement).

She has been honoured with many awards and honours, mainly for her unparallel passion, dedication, consistent efforts, out of the box ideas and for her simple, pro-active, participative and practical approach.

To name some… Mrs. Anuradha Gupta was honored with ‘Accors Local Hero’ award, in Nov.2018 along with five other prominent personalities of Lucknow, by Novotel, Lucknow, a group of AccorHotels on the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Accor Hotels.

On International Women’s Day -8th March2017, she received the ‘BHOOMIKA’-the iconic women Award given by Eastern Condiments and Nav Bharat Times to the iconic women from Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier at PAN India level, she was declared the Grand Prize Winner of the Janhit Jagran National contest for the best idea for Social change, launched by Dainik Jagran in March 2015. Received the Grand Prize Award on 10th Dec.2015 in Taj Palace, New Delhi from Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji himself.

Anuradha ‘s consistent green efforts to create healthy environment brought special recognition to Lucknow city by Earth Day Network’ in it’s शहर GREEN करो– 47 Cities Contest ,in India to Commemorate the 47th Anniversary of Earth Day. Earth Day Network honored Prithvi Innovations as the winner of this contest and commended her efforts to widen awareness amongst the citizens of Lucknow City about methods to preserve Earth’s natural capital.

On behalf of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, Government of Sweden, she was invited by the Stockholm Environment Institute to be a part of the Panel discussion in an outreach event on Sustainable Lifestyles on 1st June, 2016 at Swedish Government office, Stockholm.

She was invited by UNESCO chair on Education about Sustainable Lifestyles, to make a presentation in a workshop on Education for Sustainable Lifestyles, coordinated by PERL/UNITWIN and the Stockholm Environment Institute on the 31st of May 2016 in Stockholm.,.

She had been awarded Fellowship by UNITAR to do the online course ‘Introduction to Sustainable Consumption and Production in Asia’.

Her area of expertise includes CSR driven initiatives, Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP), Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Innovative and Holistic Education, Community Driven Development (CDD), Result based Management (RBM), Life-skill education, Soft Skills (Business Communication, Leadership, etc.) and Personal effectiveness.

She has been associated in various capacities with a number of local, national and international organizations and institutes, Government and NGOs like Earth Day Network, UNEP, Global Save food Program, Confederation of UNESCO Clubs Association of India (CUCAI), Clean Up The World, IPEN, Sahbhagi Shikshan Kendre, Vigyan Prasar, Council of Science and Technology, Regional Science City, SAYEN-South Asia Youth Environment Network, WWF-I, CEE, Petroleum Conservation Research Association, National Children Science Congress, UP Pollution Control Board, Lucknow Zoo, Forest Department, UP, Nagar Nigam, SBI, TCS, IIM Lucknow.
